Course Descriptions

Youth Modules
The Youth Module is a five hour course recommended for parents, new coaches, working with children in the ages of U6, U8, & U10. The mission of the Youth Module is to provide the most current and advanced information on the growth and development of the youth soccer player. The program fee for each module is $25 (plus any facility expense).

E Certificate
The E Certificate is an eighteen hour course for coaches working with the U11, U12, and U13 player. The courses consist of theoretical and practical instruction on the teaching of techniques and tactics of the small sided game between 1v1 and 6v6. The emphasis will be to build on the player's technical development by applying tactical concepts with game situations. The cost of the course is $60 (plus any facility expense). Minimum enrollment is 20 coaches.

D License
The D License is a thirty-six hour course for coaches working with players U14 and up. The courses consist of theoretical and practical instruction on teaching the four components of soccer, technique, tactics, fitness and psychology as they relate to the game. It is recommended that all classic and premier coaches working in the 11 a side game hold a D License. Coaches are required to pass two written test and a practical field test. Three outcomes are possible at the D level. Coaches can pass outright (National D) and proceed to the national courses (C-B-A) after a mandatory one year wait; coaches can earn a restricted pass (State D), which requires a two year wait; and coaches can fail the course. All applicants must have a Red Cross Standard First Aid Card and proof of an E Certificate to attend the course. The cost of the course is $100 (plus any facility expense). Minimum enrollment is 15 coaches.
