The Olympic Development Program is an identification system linked to the United States Soccer Federation and US Youth Soccer. The program offers its players a pathway that could lead to representing Regional and U.S. Youth National Teams. Originally established in 1977, ODP was the first program in the country designed to identify potential youth national team players. ODP players begin initially at the local sector before progressing to the state, regional and possibly national levels. By playing with like-talented athletes, ODP offers the opportunity for players to advance in their personal development and to be scouted by college coaches.

Tryout and Training Location: Farmington Sports Arena, 11 Executive Drive, Farmington, CT 06032
Schedule Overview: Tryouts are held in November to select the player pools for each ODP age group. Starting in January each player pool will train approximately every other Sunday morning from January – early April. Training time slots are either 7:00-8:30 or 8:30-10:00am. Specific time slots per age group will be announced after player pools have been selected. The ODP calendar from late April through early June includes 3 of our 4 scheduled events and a single Tuesday evening training session from 6:00-7:30 or 7:30-9:00pm.
Program Fee: $675 (Includes full GK or field player uniform package, GK training and team training)
Additional Fees: $20 player fee for events. ODP staff will select rosters for each event and players will confirm their attendance by registering for the event roster. All events scheduled for the 2025-26 cycle are “invite only”.
